Using a Wiki to Enhance Cooperative Learning in a Real Analysis Course (Updated)

In this paper we investigate the efficacy of a wiki as a tool for collaborative learning and enhancing students ability to communicate in an undergraduate mathematics course. A wiki is a website which is constructed primarily for the purposes of online authoring and collaboration [8]. The prototypical example is Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia constructed with the help of tens of thousands of users. But wikis also exist on much smaller scales. There are thousands of wiki sites on the web, allowing groups of individuals to collaborate around shared interests such as an employer, video games, or mathematics.
